1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly: display name, email address, and profile photo. We collect usage data including venue check-ins, noise ratings, focus session durations, and reviews you submit.

Location data: We collect your GPS coordinates when you use the map or submit a check-in. We use location only to show nearby venues and verify physical proximity for check-ins. We do not store or share your precise location history.

Audio/microphone: With your permission, we measure ambient noise levels using your device's microphone. We do not record, store, or transmit audio. Only numerical decibel readings (e.g., "52 dB") are processed, on-device, and submitted anonymously as part of a check-in.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve app features (maps, ratings, focus timer)
• To calculate venue quiet scores from aggregated community data
• To manage your account, subscriptions, and focus session history
• To detect and prevent fraudulent check-ins

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Firebase (Google): Our database, authentication, and hosting provider
• Stripe: Payment processing for premium subscriptions (they handle payment data — we do not store card details)
• AdMob (Google): Advertising during break screens (free users only)

4. Data Retention and Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen. Upon deletion, we permanently remove your profile, reviews, check-ins, and focus sessions within 30 days.

5. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

6. Children's Privacy

Quiet Spaces is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
